Asa Christiana

Asa Christiana served on the Fine Woodworking staff for 15 years, eight of them as chief editor. Today, he lives and works in Portland, Ore., where he edits and writes for a variety of magazines and has written two books for The Taunton Press. The first, Build Stuff with Wood (2017), is a project-by-project guide for woodworking beginners. The second, Handmade: Make the Things You Use Everyday (2018), offers a variety of easy projects in a range of materials including wood, leather, concrete, and more. He also teaches frequently at his local woodworking guild.
